Text is what has a ceiling – the first 5 minutes of each recording or import, with speaker labels across them. Quality, the higher-accuracy model, has a free allowance of its own, 15 minutes a calendar month, spent inside those first minutes.
Yes, $3.99 per month inside the app. There are no weekly plans and there never will be.
Renewal, not features. Both unlock the same Pro: whole recordings transcribed, Quality without a monthly allowance, and speaker labels with the same 60-minute processing limit. Pro Annual is a subscription that renews every year and can open with a free trial; Pro Lifetime is a single purchase that never renews.
It turns into the paid year unless you cancel before it is over. Apple runs the billing rather than us, and the trial is offered only to Apple accounts that are eligible for one. If you cancel during the trial, your App Store subscription status decides how long Pro stays switched on; after that the app carries on with the free plan.
The app keeps working, on the free plan. Nothing of yours is withheld: the recordings, the transcripts and the files you exported are on the phone and stay there. What returns are the free plan's ceilings for new processing – text for the first 5 minutes of a recording, and Quality back on its monthly allowance. Export stays available for whatever text you have.
No, on any plan. The ceiling is on the text: the free plan transcribes the first 5 minutes of each recording, with the speakers labelled across them. The audio records to the end of the meeting or the lecture and is saved in full – nothing is cut short and nothing is thrown away.
Two allowances with two different shapes, and on the free plan they overlap. The 5-minute ceiling is per recording and applies to the text. Quality has a free allowance of its own, 15 minutes a calendar month, counted across the month – and on the free plan it is spent inside those first 5 minutes of each recording. Pro removes both.
In your Apple account, not here. On the iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, then Pro Annual. Apple handles the billing for everything sold through the App Store, so that is the only place a cancellation takes effect, and Pro stays on until the period you have already paid for runs out. A single purchase has nothing to cancel.
Apple decides refunds, because Apple takes the payment – it never reaches us and we cannot issue one ourselves. Requests go through Apple’s own Report a Problem page, with the Apple account that made the purchase. The cheaper route is to find out first: the free plan has no time limit on it, and Pro Annual can open with a free trial.
