The app

Kaseta transcribes on your device. Your recordings and their transcripts never reach us, because there is nowhere for them to go: we run no servers, we have no accounts, and the app works with the network switched off. The offline transcription guide shows how to check that claim yourself, and the about page explains why we built it this way.

If you have iPhone backup switched on, your recordings are included in your own iCloud backup, the same as everything else on your phone — that copy goes to your Apple account, never to us. That is a setting on the phone rather than something the app does, and you can exclude Kaseta from the backup in the iPhone’s iCloud settings.

This website

This site sets no cookies and shows no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. We count page views with Vercel Analytics, which stores no cookies and no personal data. We collect no email addresses and run no third-party trackers.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
